Refund and cancellation policy

Scope

This policy applies to professional engagements offered by CloudApp FusionCom — including fixed asset register audits, acquisition register cleanup, year-end physical verification support, and capitalization policy walkthroughs — booked under a written scope memorandum or engagement letter. It does not cover goods retail, software subscriptions, or services we do not offer.

Deposit

Where a scheduling deposit is required (typically 30% for engagements above NT$50,000), the deposit reserves practitioner time and travel planning. Deposits are credited against the final invoice when the engagement completes as scoped.

Cancellation by the client

• Cancellation more than 14 days before the first scheduled field day: deposit refunded minus any non-recoverable travel bookings already made with your approval.
• Cancellation 7–14 days before the first field day: 50% of the deposit is refundable; the remainder covers preparation already performed.
• Cancellation fewer than 7 days before the first field day, or failure to provide agreed site access on scheduled days (no-show conditions): deposit is non-refundable.

Rescheduling

One reschedule with at least 7 days’ notice is usually accommodated without additional fee, subject to practitioner availability. Later or repeated reschedules may incur a rescheduling charge stated in writing before the new dates are locked.

Work already started

If desk preparation or fieldwork has begun, fees for time incurred are payable even if the engagement is later cancelled. We invoice preparation hours at the rates implied by the scope memo, capped at the agreed engagement fee.

Partial refunds

If we reduce scope by mutual written agreement (for example, removing a site), unused fees for the removed portion may be refunded or credited. Partial refunds are not available merely because findings are fewer than expected — verification can conclude with a clean sample.

Non-refundable items

Approved third-party travel, courier of working papers when requested, and external room hire for workshops are non-refundable once booked. Purchased materials such as durable asset tags bought at your request are non-refundable after order placement.

Refund process and timing

Email hello@cloudappfusioncom.digital with your engagement reference and reason. Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days to the original payment method where possible. Bank transfers may take additional clearing time depending on your institution.

Cancellation by CloudApp FusionCom

If we must cancel for reasons within our control (for example, practitioner illness without a substitute), we will refund deposits for undelivered work and help reschedule at your option.

Exceptions

Statutory cooling-off rights that mandatorily apply under Taiwan law are not limited by this policy. Engagement-specific terms in a signed letter prevail when they expressly modify refund timing or percentages.
